Dorm Room Biz is Back!

Well for those of you who come the site regularly to check for updates and new posts, you probably noticed a lot of down time over the last week. Sadly, Dorm Room Biz was down for just about exactly a week due to some long delays in the renewal of the domain name taking forever!

For some reason I was not notified that the domain was about to expire, so a little over a week ago I headed to the site just to make sure everything was OK while I was on campus at the computer lab and saw that the site was down. I quickly logged in to my registrars website and saw that it had expired that same day. So I immediately renewed the domain and after waiting about 6 hours contacted the company to see when it would be back up. The company told me within 24 hours. 48 hours passed and nothing. Then 3 days, 4 days, 5 days. I finally got on the phone trying to get in touch with someone after not getting any responses from the support tickets and sat on hold on the phone for 20 mintues and before I got frustrated and hung up. So finally on Friday I got an email from the registrar telling me that the renewal finally went through. I do not know what the delay was but it is back up finally.

Thank god. I hope all the readers come back and dont think that the site just died off the face of the internet.
